Basic English Ⅰ

The Big Picture      This is a suspenseful story.      Kenji's job was taking photos for newspaper and anybody who wants to buy them. He sometimes took photos of famous people. One day he succeeded to take a photo of big couple, but because of it, he would be sought his life.      Why was he sought? And who? What would he be at the end?      An unexpected twist happened, so I was surprised.

 TEN LONG YEARS      Nat Marley was a investigator. He got a job offer  from Jorge Hernandez. He wanted to find his old friend, Mike Lopez. In fact, he went to jail for ten years because he sold drugs. Marley have tried to decline the offer, but finally he decided to accept.      As he investigate of  Lopez, he knew that Lopez was still selling drugs. He told that to Hernandez. He didn't trust it, but he did at last. Then he decided to forget him and start a new life.      After two years, Hernandez published "Ten Long Years" written about his life. It sold well, and he became famous. He gave his first book for Marley. He was a key person in Hernandez's life, so he couldn't thank Marley enough.

 Ben and the Ghost      Mr and Mrs King were going to the party at night. They had to wear fancy dresses, so they were dressed up as ghosts. However their children, Ben and Tessa thought it weren't good.      At night, Ben and Tessa went to their grandparents house by foot because their parents were going to stay at hotel. Unfortunately, it was rainy, so all of them got wet. Ben and Tessa changed clothes into pajamas. Their grandparents dry their wet clothes.      The bed time had came. They slept. In the middle night, they woke up for feeling strange. Then, they saw a ghost. Having their screaming, their grandparents came into their room. However, it was Ben's wet shirt. They laughed each other.      

A rat for Mouse      Mouse wanted a pet, so he went to pet shop with his father. He looked at rabbits, fish, birds, gerbils, pigs and chinchillas, but he couldn't find the favorite one. But then, he saw the rat. He wanted to have it. The shopkeeper said "The rat would love his owner and never hurt them, but he wouldn't like to be picked up him by other people."       Mouse took the rat his home. He named his rat Ricky. They became friends for several days. Ricky trusted Mouse, and they were always together. But Ricky would let anyone else pick him up.      One day, Ricky took Mouse's friend's Ben's biscuit, so Ben grabbed him without thinking. Then he bite Ben's finger. But it wasn't his fault, but Ben's.  After that, everyone was scared of Ricky, and no one forgot again.
